The 22nd World Korean Business Conference concluded with all-time contract results in line with its status as the largest business place for the Korean people.

The Overseas Koreans' Office said that during the three-day competition from the 22nd, export contracts worth 58 million dollars and about 80 billion won in our money were signed.

The Korean Residents' Office added that there were also more than 20,000 export consultations, totaling $630 million in consultations.

Analysts say that this competition was especially meaningful in that various programs for young people were prepared, suggesting the way for the next generation of young people to go to the world stage and expanding the Korean business network.

About 3,500 businessmen and Korean businessmen from overseas participated in the event, which was held for the first time in Korea since the establishment of the Overseas Koreans' Office last year.

The corporate exhibition hall, the core program of the competition, was estimated to have attracted more than 14,000 visitors during the competition.

Lee Sang-deok, head of the Overseas Korean Administration, expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic preparation of the joint organizations, including the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, Jeonju City, the Federation of Small and Medium Businesses, and the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center.
Director Lee Sang-deok of ∀ also explained that he will track and manage consultations during the competition to lead to contracts, and expand the Korean business network through regional competitions, online platforms, and business advisory groups for overseas Koreans to continue to produce substantial results.
