In a comprehensive parliamentary audit of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee, the ruling and opposition parties engaged in a war of words over how our government would provide offensive weapons to Ukraine against North Korea's dispatch of the Ukraine-Russia war.

People's Power MPs said that the war in Ukraine is their own war that has no interest in us, and argued that there is an international, moral, and political obligation to support Ukraine.

In addition, the Democratic Party of Korea refuted that the aid of weapons of killing is a violation of international and domestic laws, citing that South Korea is not a military ally with Ukraine.

The Foreign Affairs and Trade Commission presented a resolution to the plenary session to condemn North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia, which was proposed by Kim Gun, a member of the People's Power, but decided to discuss it at the subcommittee level of the bill at the request of the Democratic Party.
