Around 11:30 a.m. the day before yesterday, a hiker in his 50s was reported to have slipped 3 meters down and injured his back near King Kong Rock on the dinosaur ridge of Seoraksan Mountain.
At that time, it was impossible to dispatch helicopters due to the strong wind warning.
About 20 people, including Seoraksan Special Mountain Rescue Team and firefighters, arrived at the scene on foot and carried or helped Mr. A down the mountain at around 9:30 p.m. and moved him to a hospital.
It has been confirmed that A started hiking before the mountain was controlled due to the strong wind warning.
