Yesterday (24th) at 6:30 p.m., a fire broke out at the 55 supply window of the U.S. Forces Korea base in Beomil-dong, Busan, and a big fire was put out at 7:20 a.m. this morning, 13 hours later.

The fire authorities are lifting the response stage, which was once upgraded to the second stage of mobilizing all nearby fire station equipment and manpower, at around 7:30 this morning and clearing out the remaining fires.

The place where the fire broke out was a freezer in the 55th supply window, and it was difficult to extinguish because it was large and had a sandwich panel structure that was easy to spread.

Fortunately, there were no casualties as the fire broke out after the workers withdrew from the piping construction and the fire did not spread to the adjacent building.
