Hwang Hee-seok, a former member of the Supreme Council of the Open Democratic Party who was put on trial for defaming Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People's Power, has been fined.

The Supreme Court today (25th) confirmed the original ruling that sentenced Hwang, a former Supreme Court member charged with defamation, to a fine of 5 million won.Former Supreme Council member

Hwang appeared on YouTube in November 2021 and claimed that the prosecution tracked down the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation's account in 2019 and saw all the transaction details, and that there was a "committal attachment" to catch former chairman Yoo Si-min in the process.

In 2019, representative Han, then head of the anti-corruption and violent department of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, filed a complaint with the police against former supreme council member Hwang, saying he had never tracked down the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation or former chairman Yoo's account.Representative
