Vice Chairman Kim toured the U.S. military support ship currently under maintenance with Commander Stephen Koehler, who visited Hanwha Ocean's Geoje plant.
The vessel will be repaired by Hanwha Ocean for four months and delivered to the U.S. Navy in January next year.
At the same time, Chairman Kim also discussed the possibility of further cooperation in the maintenance, repair, and maintenance projects of U.S. Maritime Transport Command ships.
Vice Chairman Kim said he will contribute to the U.S. Navy's power buildup in various ways, including the use of the U.S. Philly Shipyard, which Hanwha Ocean recently acquired.
