The Korean Medical Association said it will file a complaint against a private company that diagnosed patients with non-face-to-face AI treatment and issued prescriptions by stealing doctors' names.

The company is known to diagnose the user's disease and issue prescriptions through AI chat that learned prescription materials.

The Korea Medical Association claimed that many of the medical institutions that the company disclosed as affiliated organizations are unaware of the fact and that they violate related laws, such as not checking whether users are eligible for non-face-to-face treatment.

In addition, the name of the medical institution or the real name of the doctor was stolen from the prescription issued by the company, emphasizing that the medical institution did not issue the prescription through the company.
