Last night, a man in his 30s who was drunk and behind the wheel was arrested as a red-handed offender after running into the post office and causing an accident.

A drunk driving crash occurred near Pangyo Interchange, and a man in his 60s was killed in an apartment fire in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do.

The glass on the door of the post office has been shattered, and the police's access control line is also sagging.

The black car stopped in front of the building was severely damaged at the front.

At around 4:30 a.m. today in Deokjin-dong, Jeonju-si, Jeollabuk-do, a man in his 30s drove while drinking and climbed up the sidewalk and rushed to the post office.

At the time of the accident, A's blood alcohol level was intoxicated at the level of license cancellation, but fortunately, no one was injured.

Mr. A was arrested for a disturbance, such as kicking the door or breaking the window of a patrol car, at the patrol division where he moved to be investigated.

At around 5:30 a.m. today (26th), an SUV crashed into a leading car near Pangyo Interchange on the Gyeongbu Expressway toward Busan.The driver of the SUV in his 30s who caused the

accident was found to be intoxicated with the level of license cancellation.

No one was injured, but there was a traffic jam of about 1km in the process of dealing with the accident.

At around 6:50 p.m. yesterday, five cars collided one after another near the Manjong Junction in the direction of Jecheon on the Jungang Expressway.

The driver and four passengers were taken to the hospital with major and minor injuries.

At around 3:20 a.m. today, a fire broke out in a 15-story apartment in Sangpyeong-dong, Jeongeup-si, Jeollabuk-do.

The fire was extinguished in 30 minutes, but a man in his 60s who lived alone on the third floor was found dead in the living room.

Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
