U.S. President Joe Biden has virtually urged Israel, which has launched retaliatory airstrikes against Iran, to refrain from subsequent attacks.President Biden told reporters during a visit to Pennsylvania on the 26th local time that Israel did not appear to have struck anything other than Iran's military-related targets, according to Reuters, adding that he hoped this would be the end.

This is interpreted as a call for Israel to avoid further escalation of conflict with Iran in order to prevent the situation in the Middle East from worsening ahead of the U.S. presidential election on November 5.

On the 26th, 25 days after being attacked by about 200 ballistic missiles from Iran on the 1st, Israel launched a large-scale retaliatory strike on Iran as it had previously announced.
