British Prime Minister Keir Starmer defended Israel, saying the Israeli bombing of Iran was an exercise of self-defense.

"Israel makes it clear that it has the right to self-defense against Iranian attacks," Starmer said in a video message during a Commonwealth summit in Samoa, a South Pacific island nation, on the 26th local time. "Iran should not respond to Israeli attacks."

"We must prevent further regional escalation and urge all parties to refrain," Starmer said.
