Former President Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate of the United States, said, "We have to compete with Japan, with China, with South Korea.

Trump made the comments during a campaign rally in Michigan, a presidential race state, reaffirming his pledge to cut corporate taxes by 6 percentage points for companies that met production requirements in the United States when he came to power to create a business-friendly environment.

This is interpreted as a reaffirmation of the will to differentiate itself from the current Biden administration, which has chosen U.S.-first policy and has strengthened security and economic solidarity with allies such as Korea and Japan amid U.S.-China strategic competition.

Trump criticized, "The people don't like sex reassignment surgery," adding, "Vice President Kamala Harris is trying to give free sex reassignment surgery to inmates and imprisoned illegal immigrants."

It also introduced Muslim figures in Michigan, which is interpreted as an effort to absorb Muslim votes that have fallen out of Democratic support because of the Biden administration's pro-Israel policy.
