The "House of Stars," a space where the victims of the "10/29 Itaewon disaster" are remembered and the bereaved families communicate, will open a new nest ahead of the second cycle.

The Ministry of Public Administration and Security and the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the "House of Stars" will move to the first floor of a private building near Gyeongbokgung Palace in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, on the 3rd of next month.

It has been about five months since I moved into the Burim Building in Eulji-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul, near Seoul City Hall in June.

The relocation process was conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Itaewon bereaved family council (oil price association), the civic countermeasures meeting, and the Ministry of Public Administration and Security several times.

The place was selected with an emphasis on "accessibility" so that many citizens, as well as bereaved families living outside the metropolitan area, could visit.

In order not to repeat similar tragedies, there will also be a space to announce the contents of the Itaewon disaster and a place to see memorial messages left by citizens.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government will create the space, and the bereaved family will be in charge of practical operation.
