Korea Zinc released a press release and said its customers, including Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, continue to voice concerns about maintaining semiconductor sulfuric acid quality.
In particular, one customer expressed concern that a singularity in sulfuric acid quality would seriously damage semiconductor production and quality control, and that process dispersion would be shaken even by fine fluctuations in sulfuric acid quality.
Korea Zinc emphasized that the management dispute will allow customers to diversify their semiconductor sulfuric acid supplies to other companies at home and abroad, which will cause major losses at the company level and significantly reduce shareholder value.
