National Intelligence Service "Raises Security Guard Conscious of Possible Assassination of Kim Jong-un"

The National Intelligence Service analyzed that North Korea is raising the level of security in consideration of the possibility of an assassination of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

The National Intelligence Service reported today at the parliamentary inspection of the National Assembly Intelligence Committee at the Naegok-dong building in Seoul, according to Rep. Lee Seong-kwon of the People's Power and Rep. Park Sun-won of the Democratic Party of Korea.

The NIS said Kim Jong-un's public activities were 110 times this year, up more than 60% from last year, and that it is raising the level of security by operating communication jamming vehicles and introducing drone detection equipment, conscious of assassinations.

It also reported that this month, the use of the "Juche" era is being stopped, and that Kim Jong-un's revolutionary history is being emphasized on behalf of the previous literature on personnel dispatched abroad.

As for Chairman Kim's daughter Joo-ae, it was analyzed that some of her status has been upgraded recently, such as being guided by Kim Yo-jung or assisted by Choi Sun-hee by expanding the scope of her activities to the party's events while controlling the frequency of exposure.
