The presidential office has expressed its intention not to appoint people to change the situation ahead of the halfway point of his term on the 10th of next month.

A senior presidential office official said, "President Yoon Suk Yeol's basic perception is that he does not do show-offs or change-of-the-fact personnel appointments as in the past, and personnel appointments will have to occur."

The presidential office's remarks are interpreted as a response to a series of media reports suggesting the possibility of reorganizing the presidential office, following a recent call by Han Dong-hoon, chairman of the People's Power, for personnel reform of the so-called "Kim Gun-hee Line."
