The Korea Communications Commission said it has completed a fact-finding investigation into Ali and notified the operator of the corrective action plan today (30th).
Ali introduced the product discount coupon as if it could be used during the free trial period during the membership recruitment process, and encouraged the annual fee to be paid by pressing the "Get Coupons" button.
It was also found that when users cancel their membership system in the middle, they returned the annual fee balance with coupons that can only be used at Ali without refunding it to the existing payment method, limiting the right to terminate it.
The Korea Communications Commission plans to hear the opinions of the business operators on these violations and then finalize the size of the corrective order and fine after deliberation and resolution by the committee.
