The Ministry of Personnel Management announced that it would announce legislation of an amendment to the National Public Officials Act, which includes increasing the period of leave of absence for official diseases, which is currently up to five years.
The amendment also included extending the period of leave of absence from training from two years to four years in line with the duration of the degree course, as an exception for the first degree acquisition of a public official without a bachelor's degree.
