Apartment prices in Seoul have risen for 32 consecutive weeks...Loan regulations reduce gains

Apartment prices in Seoul continued to rise for 32 consecutive weeks, but the rise was reduced due to the impact of loan regulations.

According to weekly apartment prices across the country in the fourth week of October released by the Korea Real Estate Agency, Seoul rose 0.08%, down from last week's gain of 0.09%.

Apartment prices in the Seoul metropolitan area rose 0.05%, the same as last week's, while local apartment prices fell 0.03% to 0.01%, lower than last week, as the decline grew from last week.

Jeonse prices for apartments nationwide rose 0.05% as they did last week.

While the increase in apartment lease prices in Seoul and the metropolitan area was 0.08 and 0.09%, respectively, the price of apartments in provincial areas was flat.
