■ October Export/Import Trends Announced

What about Korea's export report card for October?

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy announces the import and export trends for October.

Yesterday (31st), Minister of Industry and Energy Ahn Deok-geun said that our exports will continue to be positive for 13 consecutive months.

The results will come out at 9 a.m. today (1st).

■ 55th Anniversary Ceremony of Samsung Electronics

Samsung Electronics, which started as Samsung Electronics in 1969, celebrated its 55th anniversary today.

The Suwon workplace will hold a closed-door celebration. Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee and Jeon Young-hyun are expected to attend, and Chairman Lee Jae-yong is expected to be absent.

■ SK Innovation and SK E&S Merger

The largest 'energy dinosaur' company in the Asia-Pacific region with assets of KRW 100 trillion will be born.

SK Innovation E&S, a combination of SK Innovation and SK E&S, which were the core of SK Group's rebalancing, will be launched in earnest today.

■ 3 department stores reveal Christmas theme
The three
department stores are welcoming winter customers by unveiling Christmas themes all at once. First, Hyundai Department Store will unveil a Christmas theme decorated in its interior garden this morning.

At 5:30 p.m., Lotte Department Store will start a light show on the outer wall of Myeong-dong, and an hour later, Shinsegae Department Store's Myeong-dong store will show the outer wall LED video for the first time.
