The U.S. Labor Department said nonfarm jobs in the U.S. rose 12,000 in October compared with the previous month.

That's well below the 110,000 expert forecast compiled by Dow Jones.

The unemployment rate was 4.1% in October, the same as the previous month, and in line with expert expectations.
