Kim', called 'black semiconductor', is so popular around the world that the number of exporting countries doubles.

A gimbap festival was held in Yeouido, Seoul, where you can enjoy laver and marine products in South Jeolla Province, which leads the Korean laver industry.

There is an issue reporter on the scene. Reporter Seo Jihyun!

It's at Yeouido Hangang Park.

You can make seaweed there yourself?

[Reporter]
Now you can experience traditional steaming here.

I chose a fish-shaped frame.

When it looks like this, pour it into a mold, and harden it, the seaweed we eat is completed.

The children are amazed like me and are making seaweed themselves.

Here, you can experience a variety of things from seaweed flakes to making gimbap.

Then let's listen to the stories of citizens who enjoy the festival.

[Songriz / Imae-dong, Bundang-gu, Gyeonggi-do: I came to the Gimbap Festival today and found that Jeollanam-do Gimbap was really fun and delicious. I actually really like gimbap, but I hope there will be more festivals like this in the future.

This festival, which was held for the first time this year, was held to promote the excellence of Jeollanam-do seaweed and various gimbap using marine products in Jeollanam-do worldwide.

You can find everything from special gimbap in Jeollanam-do, such as mugwort gimbap and abalone gimbap, to famous gimbap from all over the country.

Here, you can make your own customized kimbap using Jeollanam-do specialties such as iron seaweed, tote, and salted fish.

In addition, you can learn the production process and history of laver delivered to our table and experience gimbap art such as works of art.

After 3 o'clock, there will also be a talk show on the theme of gimbap.

A famous gimbap creator's round of gimbap and a foreign chef's story of Jeollanam-do seafood are followed.

In addition, a salt fair using sea salt from Jeollanam-do is also held, so you can experience various health experiences such as sea salt foot baths and saunas.

There will also be a flea market involving small business owners in Jeollanam-do and an unusual auction show where you can purchase seafood at a low price.

The festival will run until tomorrow.

It would be nice to have a happy weekend with food that is leading the globalization of Korean food.

I'm Seo Jihyun from YTN Han River Park in Yeouido.
