A man in his 30s who is accused of threatening neighbors who were in conflict with a weapon due to noise between floors has been sentenced to a suspended prison sentence.

Namyangju Branch of the Uijeongbu District Court sentenced a 39-year-old man A, accused of special intimidation and assault, to six months in prison and two years of probation.

The court said the crime was bad because it gave fear to a couple in their 70s and their 2-year-old grandchild, but said there were points to consider in the circumstances of the crime.

Mr. A is accused of being angry about the noise between floors in his apartment in November 2022 and going to the residents above him and arguing.

It was investigated that A went into the kitchen of a neighbor's house, picked up a weapon, and threatened it.
