"Killing Father After Suffering from Domestic Violence" Arrest Warrant issued for Son in his 30s

A man in his 30s was arrested for wielding a blunt instrument to his father in his 70s.

The Seoul Western District Court issued an arrest warrant for A, who is suspected of continuing murder, saying there is a fear of fleeing.

A is accused of killing his father with a blunt weapon at his house in Yeokchon-dong, Seoul, on the 27th of last month.

Four days later, on the 31st of last month, A turned himself in, saying, "I killed my father a few days ago," and the body of a man in his 70s was found at the house.

Police arrested and investigated a man on charges of perpetual murder and applied for an arrest warrant yesterday.

When asked by reporters about the motive of the crime before the warrant was reviewed today (2nd), Mr. A said that he had suffered from his father's verbal abuse and violence, and that he had domestic violence all his life.
