China's largest coast guard ship navigates Senkaku to respond to U.S. patrol ships

China's largest coast guard ship sailed around the Senkaku Islands and Chinese Diaoyudao in June in response to the U.S. patrol ship's dispatch to East Asia, Japan's Yomiuri Shimbun reported.

According to the newspaper, the 4,000-ton patrol ship "Waishi" from the U.S. Coast Guard of China's Coast Guard 2901 appears to have sailed around the Senkaku Islands just in time for the Urumah, Okinawa Island, Japan, to travel toward the South China Sea.The

2901 ship is 165 meters long and is considered to have a combat capability comparable to that of a warship, and participated in China's siege exercise in Taiwan last month.
