Last year, 330,000 counseling cases of sexual violence and domestic violence...the most ever

Last year, the number of counseling sessions, including domestic violence and sexual violence, reached an all-time high.

According to the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family's annual report on the operation performance of the sexual violence victim support project in 2023, the number of counseling sessions at sexual violence victim counseling centers and shelters nationwide was 337,000.

This is a 15.1% increase from 292,000 health insurance in 2022, the highest ever.

Looking at the age of the victims, 58.3% of them were under the age of 19 to 65, but there were about 5,000 people under the age of 19, which was 27.1%.

In particular, 1,412 people under the age of 7-13 and 218 victims under the age of 7 were found.
