The ship that was left unattended as a hideous object...a difficult task

The port in Sacheon, South Gyeongsang Province, is filled with abandoned ships.

Complaints are being filed due to the possibility of marine pollution as well as harming the aesthetics, but it is said that it is difficult to enforce the disposition.

It is Palpo Port located between Samcheonpo New Port and Old Port.

There are various ships, such as fishing boats and fishing boats.

As you can see, there are countless garbage around me. It's like a dump, but this is actually on a ship.

The ship, a fishing ground purification vessel, has been left unattended for more than 10 years.

The glass is broken and the hull is rusty everywhere.

It makes those who see even the signs of being burned frown.

As of August, 86 long-term ships were moored in the area of Samcheonpo Port, designated as a local management trade port.

Only 21 ships responded to the movement of the port management office, which is the management entity.

The rest of the ships have been issued an executive order to force movement or have filed a complaint with the police.

However, if the shipowner holds out until the end, there is no proper way to deal with it.

Ships left at sea other than trading ports are also a problem.

Sacheon City has identified 42 neglected ships and rafts since March this year.

Long-term neglected ships seem to need countermeasures as they cause marine pollution as well as unauthorized occupation of port facilities.
