The U.S. presidential election does not mean that the candidate with the most votes will be the president. The president will be the candidate who took more than half of the electors distributed to 50 states and Washington, DC.

So there are candidates who get more votes and lose out in the number of electors.

Based on the polls so far, we will look at the state of the U.S. presidential election and the biggest outcome.

U.S. presidential election to win if it secures more than 270 electors, a majority of 538 total electors

With the exception of traditional strong areas, the seven contending states with 93 electors are Pennsylvania and North Carolina and Georgia in the east, Michigan and Wisconsin in the north-central, and Nevada and Arizona in the southwest.

This is why the two candidates, Harris of the Democratic Party and Trump of the Republican Party, are targeting votes by making campaign moves around competing states until the last day of the presidential election.

In July, former President Trump was shot during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, a contested state.

In fact, the seven competing states have been the decisive match point in each presidential election, tossing and turning to the last minute.

In the presidential election four years ago, Biden won the election by beating Trump 6-1, and eight years ago, in 2016, Trump led Hillary 6-1, becoming the president of the United States.

So what about the recent polls?

According to the New York Times' comprehensive average of polls released on the 3rd local time, Michigan and North Carolina have a 48-48 tie, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Georgia have a 49-48 lead, and Arizona has a 50-46 lead.

Harris, on the other hand, leads Wisconsin 49-48.

However, the results of the survey are changing every day and most of them are within the margin of error, so no one can be sure of winning.

Experts predict that it will be difficult to confirm the victory or defeat until the last ballot box of the seven competing states is opened, as a close game in the fog is unfolding, making it difficult for experts to predict an inch ahead.
