On the 1st, a man in his 40s turned himself in to the police, saying he had kept his father's body in a freezer for a year.
Mr. A told the police that he could not immediately reveal his father's death due to property problems.
However, according to the YTN report, it was found that A's father was filing a divorce lawsuit worth billions of won at the time of his death.
In July 2022, he filed a divorce and property division lawsuit against his wife B, and the ruling was confirmed by the Supreme Court in April this year.
Mr. A stated that his father died in September last year, and an appeal for divorce was underway at this time.
Divorce lawsuits have been filed for more than six months with the person dead.
In a phone call with YTN, the father's lawyer explained that he had no idea that his client had died, saying, "I have mainly communicated with Mr. A when it comes to litigation."Mr.
B also said he never met his husband during the divorce proceedings.
When I asked my stepson, A, to let me meet my father, he told me as if he were alive and said he had made several appointments and canceled them.
[Mr. B/Mr. A's stepmother: I've been waiting for you in the second and first trials. Until recently, I met (father, who said he'd let me). I can meet you, ○○ I live in an apartment]
The Supreme Court said, "Divorce lawsuits do not check whether they survive if the agent is properly appointed," adding, "The court was in a situation where A's father's condition was unknown."

Meanwhile, the police confirmed that A purchased a plastic bag to contain his father's body in November last year and did not use it because it was small, and are investigating the exact timing of his death.
The National Forensic Service told the police that the first autopsy found no signs of murder, including trauma, in the father's body.
