As in the second anniversary of his inauguration and the last press conference, President Yoon is expected to make a public statement first and then answer questions from reporters.

A senior presidential official said he will report the past achievements to the public and explain the direction of state administration in the future to mark the halfway point of his term.

He also said that he will reveal in detail all issues that the public is curious about through one question and one answer.

Regarding the background of the decision to hold the press conference, he explained that he accepted the opinion of the staff that it would be better to have the opportunity to tell the people before the trip, as he has prepared so far.

Originally, the presidential office has maintained its position to consider ways to create a place for communication with the people as soon as it finishes its diplomatic schedule by the end of this month.
