Yesterday (4th) at around 4:10 pm, a fire broke out in the distribution panel of the test building outside the Korea Electric Power Corporation Power Research Institute in Munji-dong, Daejeon, and it was extinguished in about 10 minutes.
No one was injured in the fire, but there was a commotion as staff evacuated and the distribution panel was completely burned.
Fire authorities are investigating the cause of the accident based on statements from officials that the test building was not operating at the time.
