An additional head of the apartment management office has been booked in connection with the fire of an electric vehicle in an apartment building in Cheongna-dong, Incheon, in August.
The Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency's Criminal Task Force said it booked a 50-year-old apartment manager without detention on charges of injuring residents by not properly managing safety.
Mr. A reportedly stated in a police investigation that a fire broke out before he went to work and that he had properly managed his safety.
Earlier, the police booked and investigated a total of three people, including two night workers at the apartment management office and the fire safety management director.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the fire and plan to finalize the investigation as early as this month.
