Foreign workers in their 20s die under plywood piles

At around 11:20 a.m. today (5th), a man in his 20s from Laos was crushed to death by a pile of wood plywood at a sink manufacturer in Bukyang-ri, Namyang-eup, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.

Mr. A is said to have been laid on 20 sheets of plywood weighing 30kg per sheet while he was working on plywood screening with his colleague.

Police are investigating on-site officials for the exact circumstances of the accident and compliance with safety rules.
