Ansan City has reportedly rented a house opposite the house where Cho Doo-soon, a child sex offender, newly moved.
According to Ansan City on the 6th, Ansan City recently signed a monthly rent contract for a multi-family house in Wa-dong, Danwon-gu, Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do.
This house is opposite Cho Doo-soon's new residence, and is located in a place where you can see Cho Doo-soon's residence just by opening the window.
However, it is estimated that more than 7 million won of taxpayers' money will be invested as the rental price is 600,000 won per month.
Cho Doo-soon was found to have moved to another multi-family house about 2km away from the Wadong multi-family house where she had been living since she was released from prison in December 2020.
In response, the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency always deployed two police officers in front of the house where Cho Doo-soon moved, and took measures to strengthen patrols nearby by one mobile patrol team.
The Ministry of Justice is operating a regular management system by dedicated personnel, and Ansan City is preparing for an emergency by moving CCTV and civil safety guard posts (two containers).
