Additional detection of AI antigens for wild birds in Jeongeupcheon, Jeollabuk-do...Checking for high pathogenicity.

Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province announced that additional H5 type avian influenza and AI antigens were detected in the duck samples captured in Jeongeupcheon on the 5th.

Currently, a detailed inspection is underway to check whether it is highly pathogenic, and Jeollabuk-do has set a 10km radius of the detection point as a wild tidal forecast area and is strengthening the forecast for 63 nearby poultry farms.

In addition, we plan to block the spread of AI by conducting intensive disinfection and blocking quarantine on roads and farms around migratory birds.

Earlier on the 31st of last month, AI antigens were found in wild birds collected in Jeongeupcheon Stream, which have been confirmed to be low-pathogenic.
