The National Assembly Legislation and Judiciary Committee will hold a plenary session and deliberate on the Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act, which was proposed for the third time by the Democratic Party of Korea.

As the Democratic Party of Korea is determined to carry out the special prosecution with its numerical advantage, the special prosecution law is expected to pass the judiciary committee led by the opposition party.

On the other hand, the ruling party is protesting, saying it is trying to pass the independent counsel law unilaterally to impeach the president, which is expected to cause a clash between the ruling and opposition parties during the deliberation process.

Earlier, Yoon Suk Yeol's president criticized the special prosecutor at a press conference yesterday, calling it a political incitement against the Constitution.
