Biden "accepts U.S. choice..."I've lost, but I can't beat you."

In his address to the nation, U.S. President Joe Biden accepted the U.S. choice and said he would cooperate for a peaceful transfer of power.

President Biden stressed that he lost but should not be defeated, raising the possibility that Trump will have unchecked power as Republicans are poised to take control of both the House and Senate.

Two days after the election, President Joe Biden addressed the nation.

Mr. Biden said the election was honest and fair and that he accepted the American people's choice.

[Joe Biden/President of the United States] We accept the choice of the United States. I've said many times that you can only love your country when you win, and you can't love your neighbors only when you agree. Lower the temperature.]

He said he called Trump and promised to cooperate for a peaceful transfer of power, and that he would fulfill his duties by January 20 next year, the presidential inauguration day.

President Biden, who consoled Vice President Kamala Harris that it was a heart-to-heart campaign, said he also lost to his supporters but stressed that it should not be broken.

[Joe Biden/President of the United States] Frustration is inevitable, but abandonment is unforgivable. Remember, losing doesn't mean we're beaten. We only lost the battle. The America you dream of is telling you to get back on your feet.

I've urged my Democratic supporters to fight again, but things aren't any easier after the presidential election.

In the congressional election that coincided with the presidential election, Republicans won 52 of the 100 Senate seats, winning a majority, and already outpacing Democrats in the House vote count, increasing their chances of controlling both the House and Senate.

Trump's key pledges, including the deportation of illegal immigrants, the health insurance reform law, and the so-called Obama Care revision, will be able to be pushed forward without congressional barriers.

The judiciary is also a conservative advantage system made up of Supreme Court justices appointed during Trump's first term, so both legislation and the judiciary will be a favorable environment for Trump.

Amid the rapid change in the U.S. power landscape following a landslide victory in the U.S. presidential election, there are concerns about the possibility of Trump's super-powerful state administration.
