Gyeonggi-do Province held a meeting with Nvidia Senior Director Susan Marshall, who visited the provincial government today (8th) to discuss ways to cooperate to create an ecosystem of the AI industry.
Through the meeting, Nvidia announced its position to strengthen support for AI companies in Gyeonggi Province to enter the global market, including supporting start-ups, providing computing resources, and operating start-up development programs.
"Cooperation with Nvidia will be an important milestone for the development of the AI ecosystem in the province," said Kim Ki-byung, director of AI. "We hope that it will be a leap forward to advance the AI transformation (AX) of companies in the province."
Senior Director Marshall said, "We will be able to accelerate AI technology innovation through partnerships with Gyeonggi-do Province," adding, "We hope to create the future of the AI industry together."
The Gyeonggi Tech Day, co-hosted by the province and Nvidia at the Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center the previous day, was attended by more than 300 people, including small and medium-sized start-up developers and college students.
