[Gyeongbuk] Agreement on the Development of the Aviation Maintenance Industry with Gumi City, Air Force, University, etc.

Gumi City, North Gyeongsang Province, signed business agreements with the Air Force Military Command, Kyungwoon University, and Gumi Electronics and Information Technology Institute for the development of the aviation maintenance industry.

Under the agreement, each institution will promote projects to localize aviation parts, develop maintenance, repair, and renovation capabilities, and foster regional aviation electronics and maintenance industries.

Gumi City explained that it will be an important opportunity to secure a new growth engine called the aviation maintenance industry, and that it will work with participating organizations to localize aviation parts and cultivate professional manpower.
