A courier in his 40s who beat a colleague to death is sentenced to prison.

A courier who beat a colleague who had a parking dispute to death was sentenced to prison.

The Uijeongbu District Court's Goyang Branch sentenced A, a man in his 40s, to two years in prison on charges of serious injury.

The court revealed the reason for the sentencing, saying that the crime was heavy as the victim lost his life due to A's crime, but A reflected and agreed with the bereaved family to consider the fact that the bereaved family did not want punishment.

Mr. A is accused of assaulting and killing his colleague, a man in his 50s, while arguing over parking a delivery vehicle at a delivery office in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 9:20 p.m. on April 29.

The victim was found unconscious in a delivery vehicle the next morning, and was taken to a hospital, but died 15 days later after falling into brain death.
