Since the election of President Donald Trump, misogynistic expressions have surged on U.S. online platforms.

Racist texts treating black people as slaves were also indiscriminately sprayed, and authorities have launched an investigation.

Reporter Yoon Hyun-sook reports.

"Your body, my choice. Forever."

This is what the American white nationalist podcast operator posted on social media X to congratulate Trump on his election.

He mocked the parody of "My Body Is My Choice," which supports women's right to self-determination.

They saw Trump's election as a woman's defeat.

Immediately after the presidential election, this expression surged 4,600% on various U.S. online platforms.

The misogynistic online community has even called for the abolition of women's suffrage.

The day after the presidential election, a large number of racist text messages were also distributed to black people across the United States. It's about

"Get a ride to a cotton farm" and it reminds me of the nightmare of slavery.

Black students and parents who received the text were shocked.

[Nicole / Black high school mom] My kid sat down and handed me his phone and told me to look at the text, and it was really sad. My child has many friends of various races. She is a child who doesn't look at the color of her skin and doesn't see the difference.]

It is not yet known whether foreign forces seeking division in the U.S. or domestic discrimination were responsible for it as the FBI has launched an investigation.

[Robert Green / Professor of History, Claflin University] This text message is fear-mongering. It's definitely a threat. And most of all, I think who's behind it, now that this election is over, we're saying we're in charge of this country.

With Trump's victory in the presidential election, there are concerns that there are signs of racist rhetoric becoming explicit in the U.S. society.
