Bitcoin, a representative "Trump Trade," or the beneficiary of President-elect Donald Trump, once exceeded $90,000 for the first time in the market.
Some predict that it may reach the $100,000 mark within this year.
I'll connect to the New York bureau to find out more about it. Correspondent Lee Seungyoon!

Bitcoin, which soared with Trump's victory in the U.S. presidential election, finally hit another all-time high?
[Reporter]
Yes, it is.
As of 3:55 p.m. EST on the U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, the price of Bitcoin was trading at $9045.35, up 3.4% from 24 hours ago.
It's the first time ever that the price of Bitcoin has exceeded $90,000.
Bitcoin, which had risen to a new all-time high since former President Trump's election on the 5th, exceeded the $89,000 mark the previous day.
Since then, the buying has not exceeded the $90,000 mark, and the price has fluctuated, with a large amount of profit-taking taking place and falling to the $85,000 range.
Since then, Bitcoin has started to rise again, recovering from the $89,000 mark in a few hours, crossing the $90,000 mark.
Bitcoin, which was below $70,000 on the morning of the 5th of the U.S. presidential election, has surged by about 30%p so far, breaking its record high every day since former President Trump's election.
In terms of market capitalization, it surpassed silver and domestic stock markets with $1.7 trillion.
"It will be the policy of the second term of the administration to hold 210,000 Bitcoin held by the U.S. government and 100% Bitcoin to acquire in the future," Trump said, igniting Bitcoin investment sentiment.
Cryptocurrency investors expect Bitcoin to reach $100,000 by the end of the year in the near future.
However, other major cryptocurrencies were mixed.
As of 4:25 PM ET today, Ethereum, the second-largest market cap, was trading down 2.17% at $3,287, and Solana was trading down 2.69% at $213.26.
Dogecoin, floated by Elon Musk, was trading at $0.38, up 17.9% from 24 hours ago.
