The Coast Guard said a Navy remote-controlled underwater robot, R.O.V. (R.O.V.) found one body around the hull that sank into the sea at around 9 p.m. last night (9th).
The missing person is a 64-year-old surnamed Lee, who was wearing a waterproof work suit at the time of discovery.
The Busan-registered 129-ton Venus, which had 27 people on board, sank 22 kilometers northwest of Biyangdo Island on Jeju Island in the early morning of the 8th.
As one missing person was found dead, three people have been killed and 11 are missing so far in the accident.
The Coast Guard is continuing its search at sea, dropping flare bombs to find the remaining missing.
