Today, we meet a young farmer in his 30s who is expanding his scope to cheese manufacturing and experience by succeeding his grandfather and father in the livestock family business for the third generation.

Kim Cheol-hyun, 35, who raises more than 300 cows and Korean beef with his parents in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do.
My grandfather started the livestock industry for the first time in
and has been in the family business for three generations now.
[Kim Cheol-won / 3rd generation young farmer in the livestock business: I've been growing up in a very familiar environment with animals since I was young. Now, as a result, I naturally became interested in animals and became interested in life science. So I majored in animal biotechnology....]
As Cheorwon took over the family business, the livestock sector has expanded from simple milk production to yogurt and cheese making.
There are two types of dairy products made with milk that young farmers make themselves. It's yogurt and mozzarella cheese.
The goal is to achieve optimal taste while minimizing nutrient destruction, but it is said that it has been close through more than two years of testing.

The area Cheorwon expanded additionally is experience.
We have developed and operated various experience programs such as making cheese and pizza using milk and feeding goats.

Cheorwon's other goal is to develop dairy products that add fresh agricultural products such as strawberries and grapes produced in Gapyeong.
