Unification Minister Kim Young-ho said North Korea's military provocations are a direct threat to European and world peace beyond the Korean Peninsula, stressing that it is time to find various solutions to establish peace on the Korean Peninsula and the world.
Minister Kim made the remarks in a video congratulatory speech at the 2024 Civil Peace Forum hosted by the French Council of the National Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation at the Paris Political University in France.
He then pointed out that the North Korean regime is forcing young soldiers into illegal and unprovoked wars waged by Russia, conflicts and conflicts are constantly occurring around the world, and the security environment surrounding the Korean Peninsula is also very fluid.
The August 15 Unification Doctrine contains multidimensional measures of substantial improvement of human rights in North Korea and peace and prosperity in the world, including the Korean Peninsula, he said, adding that international cooperation and solidarity are needed.
