The Seoul High Prosecutor's Office has begun a review of whether it was appropriate for the prosecution to clear Kim Gun-hee in connection with the alleged manipulation of Deutsche Motors' stock price.

On the 8th, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office sent investigative records on the appeal of the case of First Lady Deutsche Motors to the Seoul High Prosecutors' Office.

Earlier, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office reviewed the reason for appeal submitted by the accuser, former Democratic Party lawmaker Choi Kang-wook, and decided that the reason for appeal was not recognized.

The Seoul High Prosecutor's Office will soon allocate the case and see if a reinvestigation is needed.

On the 31st of last month, former lawmaker Choi Kang-wook filed an appeal, saying that the investigation team should find out whether it tolerated the crimes of women who exercise the nation's highest power even by turning a blind eye to normal evidence.
