The People's Power decided to hold an emergency meeting tomorrow (12th) ahead of the first trial hearing of Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea.

People's Power will use the meeting to condemn the Democratic Party's operation of a "bulletproof parliament" and repeatedly urge the court to broadcast the first trial's ruling live, party officials said.

Representative Han Dong-hoon, floor leader Choo Kyung-ho, policy committee chairman Kim Sang-hoon, secretary-general Seo Bum-soo and members of the National Assembly's Legislative and Judiciary Committee will attend the meeting.

Representative Lee's first trial on charges of violating the Public Official Election Act will be held on the 15th, and the first trial on charges of perjury will be held on the 25th.
