KT Sat will launch "Mugunghwa Satellite 6A" for geostationary satellite communication early tomorrow morning.

Kt sat will launch the Mugunghwa Satellite 6A on SpaceX's Falcon 9 projectile at 2 a.m. tomorrow in Florida's Cape Canaveral launch complex.

It is the first time in seven years that kt sat has launched satellites such as Mugunghwa satellites 5A and 7 in 2017.

Mugunghwa Satellite 6A will replace Mugunghwa Satellite 6, which will expire next year, to perform fixed satellite service and broadcast satellite service.

It is expected that it will be able to cover all of Korea and improve location errors to provide accurate location information in various fields such as transportation and defense.

KT Sat plans to start official service in the first quarter of next year after completing in-orbit testing of Mugunghwa Satellite 6A by the end of the year.

The launch scene will be available in real-time on the SpaceX website from 15 minutes before launch.
