The Korea Development Institute KDI gives its economic outlook for the second half of the year today.
In August, the KDI cut its forecast for the nation's economic growth this year by 0.1 percentage point from 2.6 percent to 2.5 percent.
With the growth rate of 0.1% in the third quarter, attention is being paid to this year's new growth forecast.
■ Ministry of Industry-Samsung Electronics Technology Sharing Event
The 'Technology Sharing Event' will be held today to deliver technologies that are not used by Korea's largest company, Samsung Electronics, to SMEs.
Samsung Electronics, which has been participating in technology sharing since 2015, transferred more than 1,000 patents to 580 companies for free until last year.
It is expected to be of great help in securing technological competitiveness of Korean small and medium-sized companies.
