Recently, a YouTube channel run by a YouTuber who was a former army captain released some information about A (38), an active-duty army major accused of murder, body damage, and body concealment.
According to the channel, A is from the Korea Military Academy, married, has a family, and has two children. He is also said to have been diligent and good to his juniors.
The YouTube channel operator said, "The soldiers already know almost everything (through the defense network 'Intranet'). The promotion of lieutenant colonel was announced not long ago, he said. "When I asked my acquaintances, they said, 'I was a good senior to my juniors who were good, sincere, and had good grades in the military.'
Another YouTube channel also released A's real name, as well as several photos of his graduation album and his daily life.
Earlier, the Gangwon Police Agency held a review committee on personal information disclosure on the 7th to disclose A's personal information, but as A filed an objection to the "immediate disclosure," the police decided to disclose A's personal information with a grace period of five days (8-12 days).
Then, A took legal action by filing an administrative lawsuit for the cancellation of the disclosure of personal information, along with an application for an injunction during this period. However, as the court decided to dismiss it, the personal information is expected to be disclosed on the 13th, the day after the grace period ends.
