Seongnam Sujeong Police Station in Gyeonggi Province today (13th) arrested and sent a 22-year-old college student A on charges of attempting to remove evidence after running away after causing a death accident due to drunk driving.

A is suspected of driving an SUV in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do at around 4:10 a.m. on the 5th, hitting an electric bicycle driver and running away without any action.

After the accident, A attempted to destroy evidence by removing the vehicle's black box memory card, and even lied to the police officer that he had "come home and drank."

It turns out that A was revoked for driving under the influence three years ago when he just became an adult, but he got his license again in March.

The victim of the accident, B, is a self-employed person who ran an unmanned laundromat and reportedly had an accident while on his way to work from dawn.
